The appearance of the superstar Carlos Santana, who was, with his Band Santana by the groundbreaking fusion of rock, Latin and jazz in the 1960s and 70s to world fame is a highlight of the internationally recognized Music Festival at Piscadera Bay on the Caribbean island of Curacao. The offshoot of the renowned North Sea Jazz Festival attracts since 2010 stars of the international jazz -, soul -, and Latinszene on the island in the Southern Caribbean.
